“ Can't fault it at all. Coffee is strong and served at right temperature. Cakes are to die for and you probably would if you had too many of the delicious Cruffins (muffin/croissant). Go in when working on site for some reasonably priced refreshment and to meet all the lovely dogs. Friendly staff always attentive, free drinking water, plenty of seating inside and out and quite clean to say its in the woods and full of walkers, dogs and dirty boots. Great place to relax after a walk around the Outwoods. Last visit included a great breakfast of sourdough, scrambled egg and lime pickle avacado ”

“ A limited food menu compared to the location in Lboro town but the coffee remained delicious, if not more so. Great location up in outwoods, and a perfect start / end / pit-stop for a beautiful walk or day out. The staff were so lovely, kind and service was top notch. Theres both inside and outside seating, and the place is so dog and family and muddy boots friendly it’s great. There’s even a car park to drive up simply to visit for the coffee. I had a focaccia sarnie which was pretty solid too, and all round this cafe is worth a visit, does the job nicely :) ”

“ Lovely staff. Tried the cruffin... wow gorgeous a croissant baked in a muffin tray with fillings, very yummy. Indoor and outdoor seating. Play areas for children, and quiet areas under trees to sit. A nicely manicured lawn sets the place off. Selection of hot and cold beverages and a nice selection of bluebells ice cream also available. Sweet and savory pastries as light snacks. So after a pleasant walk on the many paths and walks through this lovely reserve, there's a place to rest tired feet and relieve your thirst. Absolutely idyllic leafy woodland. ”

After a couple of visits, this one of my favourites, located in the beautiful Outwoods, this place is very popular with walkers (with or without dogs), complete with prompt service, delicious food, good cakes. The place welcomes you with the bar on entry, the coffee is fresh, the food is tasty, friendly staff are on point, keeping the place clean and moving smoothly. This is a dog friendly cafe, so you can bring them inside. The floors are hardy so muddy boots are allowed in bad weather. Free self service water is available when required. For kids, there’s a small park just outside, and in summer the outdoor seating will keep you in the scenery. A lot of cafes could learn from this place. ”
